The brief
A teardown on a lot the owners had lived on for twenty years. They wanted to keep the street, the trees and the neighbours on side.
The hard part
Living next door in a rental for fourteen months. We sent the neighbours a short note every month with what was coming.

1The old house's fir floors were pulled up, milled and laid again in the new study.
